About me
I am a Junior that is attending High School for CTEA and I am currently living in Queens, New York. I have a wide range of interest, however my main passion is fitness and sports. Although i did not grow up playing sports seriously, once i got to high school my passion was very clear and i flourished. In a matter of less than 10 months i went from playing no sports, to being on two varsity teams in the highest division for both volleyball or softball. I trained non-stop from the moment i joined the team. whether it was running in the forest in the summer or weight training in the winter i did not stop. I showed so much dedication and passion that i went from a freshman bench player to a sophomore starting captain for both volleyball and softball.
This summer i had the pleasure of learning and working with the SYEP and MR. larry JOnes to help me learn valuable information about how to further my career . Since my freshman year I have been stressing about what I will do after i graduate. This program somewhat helped me get on track even if i am still lost. Mr. Jones also works with the BOy's & Girls Club who's mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. This club is a great asset to my community because it helps shape our youth into prepared adults.
